Before booking, please remember that, at least one person must have previous boat handling experience.

 

Weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, Monday to Monday and even Friday to Friday!. Short breaks are available, and in fact proving very popular. These can be from 3 to 5 nights, Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday- call for further information.


Your boat will be ready for you in an allocated time slot between the hours of 12:30 pm and 4.30 pm.


You will need to return to Benson Waterfront by 9:00 am on the last day of your stay, and vacate your boat by 9:30

Bygone Boating - Self drive boating holidays on the River Thames

We are the only holiday hire company on the upper Thames with a fleet of classic wooden motor cruisers. We have a Bates Star Craft, known for it’s style and innovation in the Industry, built in 1952, also a broads cruiser, built in 1965, a Moore & Sons 22ft cruiser, bulit in 1948, and a 28ft cruiser- totally refurbished – quite possibly from Dunkirk times!

Please note – we do require there to be at least one capable person on board,who has previous boating experience.
