Benson Waterfront

Benson Waterfront is an oasis.

As well as our easily accessible moorings, there is also the Waterfront cafe / restaurant, and a pristine shower / toilet / launderette area available for your use.

We are moored on pontoons, right on the River Thames itself. You will have access to a pontoon throughout your holiday, if you want to come back to pop to shops, or utilise facilities………

The Waterfront Cafe is popular and you can be assured of a lovely lunch / dinner whenever you’re passing through. Benson village is a 15 minute walk away, where there is all you would need for a quick ‘top up’ food or drink wise!

Oxford is approximately a 4 / 5 hour cruise away – a must to explore. Locally, towns such as Wallingford (downstream) and Abingdon (upstream) are good places to moor up and also great for restaurants and shops.

The River Thames is also very popular with anglers. If you want to do some fishing whilst on holiday, you must have a license. The link below shows where you can fish, and where is free.

There is a fishing tackle shop on site at Benson Waterfront, where you can purchase a day licence (or longer), and any bait etc..
